The thread for ship designs is quite large, so i thought i would create a thread for FlagShip types specifically. These are your top tier, multiple roles, multiple weapon systems (lasers, drones, missiles, railgun ect.) ships designed for the Elite. The type of ship an admiral or CEO would fly around in. (of the stock designs, the Gunship would fit) This is mine so far, Created by Gedzilla Industries: I can show more on its weapons in a later post, if you guys are interested

All the ones there seem to be GW MPD's which require large reactors, which i dont have the space for.
What im looking for is a Decane MPD that will run of 100 MW

Apparently MW super efficient MPD's are a thing.
i cant seem to find any, and there is a huge amount of pages to trawl through (which would take all day),, so i would really appreciate if you guys could post screenshots of your best DECANE MPD's

Sounds Cool, but one issue: if the earth is still alive, what about ground combat ?
yes, a spaceship in orbit could rain death on ground troops, but assuming you dont want to turn that geographical area into a wasteland, you will have to deal with ground troops, by using your own ground troops.
and there is the special forces/black ops angle (used in infiltration strikes agianst high profile targets), how would you model that ?
if earth is alive, ground combat would become a big aspect, and might be hard to model in a game about space warfare.
But the alternate timeline, earth is alive mod sounds cool :-)

Where are the escape pods designed to save your (valuable and trained) crew ?
Btw, the escape pods I envision are nothing more than a engine, propellant tank and crew module (maybe a bit of anti nuke armor)
Yes, in a 1v1 in deep space, escape pods are'nt ganna help if the enemy decides to kill you all (which is unlikely), but in a larger scale battle, especially if your side wins, escape pods will be essential to saving personnel that are VERY valuable (they have to be smart, highly motivated, loyal, calm in the face of danger, near suicidal devotion (those ships are basically death traps), trained)
THe escape pods might only have a week of food in them, which wont help if you lose a battle in deep space, but around a friendly moon, and you then win the battle, those escape pods have now saved valuable crew
So where are they ?!?
