once i knew i could do this i made this what is this and this tho As far as I can tell, it's a space suit model used as a black box power generator with attached remote control, radiator, and 16mm "internal" heavy machine gun autocannon. I guess it's meant to model an astronaut with a big-ass gun?

Here is a little curiosity. It's a lot like the stock Shooting Star, but actually has a costeffectivity approaching reasonable levels and the (external!) engines won't burn out during combat (~20 mins with all burning). But they tend to flail around like... weird tentacles. Just don't watch it too much. Jade radiator colour is from indium gallium arsenide coating. Is the mass of these microradiators laid out as the model suggests, i.e. 1% radiator and 99% support structure?

The silicon panels mass 77.4g each, and could be made of lithium massing only 17.8g.

I very much doubt the supports are anything more than visual, and look bizzare at these scales because they don't scale. The silicon panels mass 77.4g each, and could be made of lithium massing only 17.8g. If you edit the minimum radiator thickness, halving the thickness doesn't halve the mass. So I get the impression that those supports are a factor in weight.

Pipes, panes and structural parts out of different materials, structural integrity, coolant pressure being accounted for, ... It would really help in determining how credible or optimal our sodium cooled reactors with 2400 K exhaust and high powered lasers really are.

5.8Mt and 28Gc, the RCS thrusters to get turnabout time down are the same as the main Nuclear Thermal rockets used to move it forwards
