rememeber dragonkid11 , you're supply drones need to be able to keep pace with combat drones Well i think this "unmanned tanker" concept is a good idea since it allow you to refuel your drone while keep your manned mothership getting too close from the enemy~  |

the issue is refueling surviving drones after a firing pass (ammo tankers would be nice to) because they tend to be moving very fast, also fuel drones count as missiles and start with homing orders, I let my fuel tanks move a little ahead to draw fire so my combat drones can shoot for longer, if anything survived I can refuel them with nearby fuel drones and surviving fuel drones anc come back for a rematch

 made a new missile based on the lancer missile I posted like half an hour ago, its just longer with all the propellant tanks I could stuff in it without increasing cross section |

no bugs here samchiu2000 , the rocket motor is the largest widest part and the missile necks down to the remote control in the front which is wider then three propellant tanks side by side, so I can fit more propellant tanks in the back without increaseing diameter  top of the missile where three propellant tanks is the top I can fit  bottom where I can fit 8 hydrogen or 9 flourine tanks without touching the armour |

Yeah, the million-meter hits just seem to be a teleportation bug. That said technically the core design is still capable of tearing armor to shreds, it's just that the missile has to fly to the target to make sure the projectile will hit.
I've used and tested NEFPs extensively since very nearly the launch of the game. Insane armor penetration is legit, million-meter standoff distance is a bug.

I guess I can't be bothered with that, but I don't really know. I will put that on the list of ideas for changes for my next escort iteration. Also, as I was getting fairly bored, I decided to see how many guns I could put on a gun drone in an attempt to fully use up its ammunition before the fight ended. The result was this: It almost succeeded! What's the fire rate on those guns? Get them below 10ms or 5ms each and you've got a mobile volume denial death-sphere per drone 36.5ms (.0365s), as I found anything more to be rather too power-expensive for use in my opinion. |
