but why? my lightest missile masses ~300 kilos and the associated launcher+ammo+armour weights less then 5 tons, you can pack a good payload of missiles for less then 10 tons I guess I can't be bothered with that, but I don't really know. I will put that on the list of ideas for changes for my next escort iteration. Also, as I was getting fairly bored, I decided to see how many guns I could put on a gun drone in an attempt to fully use up its ammunition before the fight ended. The result was this: It almost succeeded!

So, I finally went ahead and convert my Heavy Tank drone into crewed verson and it still looks pretty damn nice. Of course, it's only heavy when compared relatively to my other smaller vessels as it's still a mere 600 tons heavy warship. The weight is more determined by the size of the gun and how much missile and drone the ship have. Thought smaller ship still has the advantage of being dirt fucking cheap.

The result was this: It almost succeeded! What's the fire rate on those guns? Get them below 10ms or 5ms each and you've got a mobile volume denial death-sphere per drone

I've kinda overdone the nuclear brimstone missile design... It tore a ship in two when detonated 100Km away Distance doesn't even matter, just point and boom... Detonated 1Mn away and the target is instafragged Same nuke and distance, 11x100kg flak: The lighter 11x100kg version is enough to tear a 10m VC steel + 10m aramid fiber target in half...

I guess when the projectile is travelling at relativistic speed the mass doesn't really matter 10.3 Mt nuke, 20x 200mg flak, 1Mn distance....

Here's my missile design, both nuke and RC is from ndeo : Basic formula: 1x10Mt+ nuke + many flaks in front , Pure pursuit for boost phase. After enter combat manually detonate the flak when missile is pointed at target, receive swiss chees/paste/whatever is left of the target

While excited, I'm still not certain that this isn't a bug in the engine like what we had before with explosions "warping" back to the parent ship when the bomb went off. Has anyone verified that the effect doesn't happen if the missile is off target? Or the effects on friendly ships in the engagment zone? (We may need an extensions on warhead engagment range qswitched )

I just got bored and decided to make some fuel tank drone to boost up the range of my drone fleet. Look at these adorable fat tanks. The only problem is that putting MPD on the side of a spacecraft doesn't seems to work, so I might need to fix that for nearly all of my sub-capital drones...
