My 77.0 nm laser 'Maia' using modded Ce:LLF The name came from Maia (star), which is a mercury-manganese star. The arc lamp gas composition is mercury, so it took its name. Pros: damn high intensity Cons: The radiators cooling this laser is waaaaay too large. Molten gold gives a higher efficiency than mercury.

I'll try it now.You lair, the output power went zero when I switch from Mercury to Molten Gold.

What is the pumping efficiency, you should be able to get that over 30%.

Looks like kinetics are back on the menu, boys! Tell that to my 100g Flak coilgun I still remember my absolutely ridiculous Graphene coilgun I made just a day before the update dropped. Now it is dead, like all my gun designs that came before it. O7

O7 All of my long range rail and coilguns had to be scrapped, but ironically some of my oldest designs from back around launch became viable again.

I Don't use microdrones or micromissiles and my new carrier carries 3,330 drones: 1280 Attack Drones, 800 Heavy Attack Drones, 360 Super Heavy Attack Drones, 800 Space Supremacy Drones, and 90 Buddy Drones I also have 80 Interceptor MK3 missiles for fleet defense and a smallish laser array, as well as 8 PD railguns. but enough talking here's some pictures Thats the Last of the carrier, Now for the drones The Buddy drone is why my carrier has no H-F propellant on-board, the Buddy Drone serves to refuel in-flight drone squadrons without having to move the carrier, saving Decane. the SS drone is designed to shoot down enemy drones and missiles, I used a railgun in place of a laser because with capacitors a railgun needs very low power inputs to fire. these drones are the attack drones, they fire 14g projectiles at a decent 1.7km/s clip + their own closing speed. very little power required to operate these guns, the Super Heavy has faster firing guns and a 1Mw Reactor compared to the 28.1Kw reactors of the other 2. done with drones and onto the guns used throughout. As a bouns, some of the smaller lasers I have been working on for counter battery work, 100Kw and 1Mw. the story behind the 100Kw laser and the 999Km engament range all my lasers share is because all my turrets can fire forwards and broadside orders point the longest ranged gun at the enemy, I have a tiny 100Kw fixed laser on the front of all my laser-armed ships so they point at the enemy, presenting the most firepower and smallest most defended area.

Enderminion You have way too much pictures. Consider putting a link to imgur album or other image-uploading sites instead of flooding the thread with it.

Hey guys let's look at this retarded nuclear reactor. (EDIT 1) SUBZERO TEMPERATURE (EDIT 2) Almost 0K...

That envelope composition switching from fused quartz to aluminium was extremely remarkable. Efficiency went straight from 0% to a bit lower than 30%. Changing mirror from silver -> aluminium push efficiency to 37.5% and intensity instantly cranked up to the top of the board at 560 TW/m 2 at 1 km. GG will do it again.
