Hmmm i think something be broken here because i'm sure a Alu coil should be going ka-boof when that fires... And now that i look its only having a heat jump of Nine kelvin... Aluminum is extremely good at dissipating heat assuming you don't melt it. Especially with the quantity of "extra" aluminum you've surrounded the coils with.

If anything I've found aluminum alloys to overheat the worst.

Does this count as breaking physics?

It was supposed to be a laser skiff equivalent... however it evolved in to something way more agressive, hence the name. The idea is the same as my larger ships: snipe the enemy's lasers, engines, then everything else, pound with railguns. Dodge like mad at the same time. If handled properly wins against much larger opossition, I consistently fly it against my laser frigate and gunship equivalents and win. The main damage dealer is this railgun.

Modded materials truly are a thing of beauty. So are laserstars. When you combine them: A 41.5% efficient 1 GW 77 nm laser, a 25.4% efficient 1.07 GW reactor, 3D-Graphene radiators and a launcher for counter-laser drones carrying a 95 t warhead.

What i was mainly posting that for was well i don't think that be working right from just the speed alone "9.69km/s" and the power curve is just a short milisecond dumping all of the power in the capistors though the coils, From a laymans perspective (Ie. Me) that says something be going bang in there or the system has bugs still xP

So, I think I went insane with the new extruded turret. Why? Because I tried to make battleship practical again by shoving as many guns as possible into a 11 ton drone platform. The result, are battleship drone. Gunfighter V is armed with 4 super long range 1 gram scatter railguns, 8 long range 1 gram sniper coilguns, 6 long range 10 gram sniper coilguns and 3 medium range flak autocannons. Gunfighter VI is armed with 5 super long range 1 gram scatter railguns, 6 long range 10 gram scatter railguns and 3 long range 1 gram rapid sniper autocannons. Gunfighter VII has 4 super long range 1 gram scatter railguns, 8 long range 5 gram sniper coilgun, 8 short range 10 gram autocannon and 6 short range flak autocannons. Gunfighter VIII has 4 super long range 1 gram scatter railguns, 4 long range 25 gram sniper coilguns, and 2 short range nuclear howitzers. And of course, I made more than just four of these BECAUSE I'M NUT. Anyway, enjoy the dakka.

Insufficient dakka. Add coilgun drone launchers. And by that I mean coilguns launching drones armed with coilguns. Continue chain until there is enough dakka.

Quick question: Before the patch, modded materials allowed >100km/s coilguns. I'm assuming that's not a thing anymore. So, how should I build my new sandblasters?
