Hello everyone. First post here on the forum!
I hope that these exports don't conflict with anyone: they are tagged. I just want to share with everyone what I think is an extremely hardened and well rounded fleet. If people like it, I may post more of my fleet in the same manner. While I have people's attention, what is the procidure regarding thread necromancy here? Post on an old thre
ad, or make a new one?
Modules have been copied from various threads: I think I gave credit in most places, but please tell me if I am inadvertently plagiarizing your design and I will update the tags to credit you.
Enjoy.

The Republic of the Free People recently intercepted the following disturbing transmission. All senior officers and party members are hereby instructed to take all efforts towards finding and eliminating/forcefully recruiting the Cypersecurity threat known as "V."
Additionally the Head of Cybersecurity, Prokhorov Faddei Svyatoslavovich, is hereby scheduled for execution for Treasonous Neglect of State Interests. What follows is the intercepted. Let this be an example to new Head Artemovich on what not to leak in the future.
From: Unknown.

Subject: Capabilities of modern RotFP fleet.
Command, be honest. Are you even trying on military intelligence anymore? I got you more info on the RotFP fleet in the last month than you guys have been able to acquire in three years.
I expect my normal fee to be deposited into my account by 9:00, as agreed.

[------Summary of fleet doctrine--------]
The Republic fleet is a primarily career based fleet. Classes of note are the Judgement Strike Career and the Dakka Destroyer Escort, both of which are devastatingly effective at their respective jobs. Notably absent are Heavy Laser Frigates and Missile Cruisers. Fleet Doctrine may be described as "Deploy overwhelming kinetic firepower by drone in as concentrated a zone as possible while defending both the carrier group and strike force from interception by missile and drone."
Now, I know you knuckleheads at Central will upon reading this immediately think that you can polish off such a malformed fleet simply using a beamstar and some antidrone heavy nukes. Before you embarrass yourself, let me explain it is not that simple. The Dancer class attack drones and the fleet in general are heavily defended against lasers. Radiators are hardened, armor is deployed, railgun turrets rated for up to 30 seconds from a 1GW beamstar. Worse yet, the defenses against missiles on both the Dancer drones and the general Carrier Group are extremely heavy.
The first layer of defense against incoming missiles is the Active "Respite" Anti-Missile Missile arrayed carried on both carrier and drones. These extremely accurate nasty missiles are sent in waves of 40+ automatically, and usually eliminate upwards of 9/10th of an incoming wave. Railgun CIWS and nuke hardening deals with stragglers and armored missiles: The Dakka Escort specializes in CIWS work, and the Dancer II's all have railguns.
Now, I know you idiots won't believe a word I say unless I provide hard facts. As such, I present the details of the ships, drones, and missiles.
[------- Judgement Strike Career ------- ]
The Judgement, as previously mentioned, is ridiculously tough and has an extremely nasty bite.
Defenses:
Defense starts with the Anti-Missile Missile Screen. Beginning at 250 kilometers, a series of 20 "Respite" Antimissile missile tubes are capable of launching up to 3000 Respite Anti-Missile Missile's at incoming waves. Launcher wave size is set at forty on automatic: Manual intervention can launch more if needed. For standard nukes and slow flak missiles, it can be safely assumed the antimissile WILL hit: The only question is whether the 140 ton pocket charge will destroy it.
If a threat cannot be destroyed this way, the second line of defense comes into play: Dodging. The Judgement is capable of accelerating when fully loaded at 1.34 g: When drones have already been launched, acceleration can be significantly faster. Active CIWS capability is provided in a limited fashion by 4mm 1g 10 MW railguns and 11mm 10g 11 MW penetrator railguns. One weakness in this setup is the reactor: The provided 20 MW of power is insufficient to run all guns at the same time. Nonetheless, with the AMM screen this is rarely needed.
On the component and armor front, there are no easy pickings. All radiators are heavily armored: The life support radiators in particular are low lying monothic slabs that are quad redundant. The low profile of the reactor radiators leave little to aim at. The armor is thick enough to deflect and delay spread incoming kinetic threats, and can even (Briefly) halt railgun fire from an incoming drone swarm. Finally, the primary radiators are hidden from frontal lasers: Unless a combined attack requires dodging, it is unlikely a laser will ever do any damage to them.
Offences:
The primary threat represented by this ship is, without a doubt, its cargo of drones. The Dancer II drone carried by the Judgement is an extremely capable drone, both offensively and defensively.
[ ------------ Dancer II Railgun drone ----------- ]
The Dancer II drone is designed to defend itself until the enemy's capital ships are reached, at which point it begins sawing ships in half.
Offensively, The Dancer II drone comes armed with a standard 4mm 10 MW railgun capable of outputting 40 1 gram slugs per second on a given target. The gun is accurate to extremely long ranges and has very little spread, allowing firing from beyond the traditional "maximum" range. This has drastic results: A full wing of 20 drones has been known to literally saw a ship in half. Naturally, the rail gun also forms the final line of defense in antimissile and antidrone combat. The 4mm railgun is significantly armored against laser fire, reducing the viability of this option.
In addition, each Dancer II drone comes with 30 Respite AMM launched out of two missile tubes. These provide protection from standard megaton missile interception techniques, and suffices to intercept around 15 waves at standard 20 drone wing size. More intensive barrages may, naturally, require more intensive missile swarms. The armor on the drone is a laser resistant light anti-kinetic composite. Notably, the primary radiators are hidden behind the main body of the drone, nullifying the effectiveness of lasers significantly.
The drone is not without any weaknesses. The radiators handling the Respite AMM tubes are forward and exposed, if an extremely small target. Additionally, the reactor radiators are almost completely without armor: Get a nuke past the AMM screen, and the radiators won't take much. Nonetheless, the drone is a formidable target.
[ -------------- Respite AMM -----------]
Crucial to the defense of both the Judgement and the Dancer II is the Respite AMM. In case you idiots don't know what a AMM is, let me enlighten you: It shoots down other missiles. The Respite AMM costs only 90.8 credits per missile and weights less then schrodingers cat, meaning the RotFP can afford to carry a lot more AMM's then you can ASM missiles. The guidance system is deadly accurate and capable of placing the 140t pocket nuke right next to the incoming missile. Despite armor, few things can survive a nuke going off at point blank range. Makes your missile warfare doctrine look kind of stupid, doesn't it?
[ ------ Dakka Destroyer Escort ------- ]The Dakka escort is the last piece of bad news I have to share with you fools. A heavily armored destroyer escort, it is a point defense station, plain and simple. Filling the holes left in the Antimissile screen by the lackluster display of railguns on the Judgement class, the Dakka class can lay down an enormous barrage of flak annihilating both drone and missile opponents.
[ ------ Final Note -----]
While sleuthing about in their systems, I found rumors of several highly classified projects. It seems likely a series of anti-drone missile frigates and possibly a laserkilling drone escort are in develepment. You know the price if you want me to investigate further.
