I worked on a design that's basically a version of your missile that weighs less than 250 kg, carry some 60 osmium rods only. It can one shot most ships, but sometimes only the engine get destroyed, leaving the enemy ship stranded in space. I can only imagine just how cruel it must have felt when I sent in another missile to rip the enemy ships apart. It was swiss cheese by the end of it, pretty amazing result compared to normal KKV missile which just make one neat tiny hole through the reactor. Now I'm hoping to see if other shape of osmium penetrator would do more damage or just looking weird. I have been wondering if I could make a sword shaped projectiles and throw that into enemy ships... Oh right, someone did already. Heheheheheheh.... Yeah I'm not going to lie: the multiple kinetic impactor thing has a pretty strong appeal to me apart from just the effectiveness of it. I'm sure a smaller missile makes quite a lot of sense. I can kind of envision adding a low capacity launcher here and there to otherwise lightly armed or civillian craft just to give them a small chance to actually take out a proper warship. As for different penetrators, I wonder a little about how a ship hit by multiple tumbling discs would look like. It seems like the 1 kg rods at that speed rips through armor even going sideways, so it might be worth a shot.

Thanks. I modified it a bit to use U-233 dioxide instead, and the higher precision values introduced on the last patch. Here's a modified version costing only 634c:

That's pretty sweet. Drops the total cost of the vehicle by about 30% to about the same as my Sword Missiles. I think I'll try to build a smaller version like dragonkid did, as it's killing-ness is more than sufficient.
