How does this game save its ships and modules ?
as far as i know, you simply make a module or ship, click accept, and its there in the lists. like its saved by the game internally. even if you exit the game, and the go back on its still there.
what happened is i have two computers, computer A had all by progress, computer B did not. these computers dont have a connection to each other, except thru steam. and for some reason, i can only upload pictures to this website thru computer B. So i went on computer B, clicked the CoaDE icon to load up the game, and it said that this would disconect the other computer (Computer A) from steam. i didnt think this would b a problem, becuase i had already gotten off computer A and presumably all the new ships and guns had been saved. when i went on CoaDE on computer B i didnt have any of the progress. so i went back to computer A, and went on CoaDE. ALL MY PROGRESS WAS GONE. this doesnt make sense, doesnt the game store the ship and module files internally ?!? I have saved them (and they were there when i reloaded the game) when i wasnt connected to steam in the past

Sorry Check out the UserRecords and UserDesigns files. It should be in there no? Where are those ? How do I access them ? go to users/user/appdata/roaming/CDE/ Your files should still be there. Or search "CDE" in File Explorer if you can't find it this way.

This is why I don't fully trust Steam Cloud. If you can't find the files, you could try contacting Steam support and see if they can restore the data from a copy they may have (don't run the game in the meantime, or disable cloud sync before doing so and back up any new designs you make to integrate with the restored files later).
