Can we get Titanium foam in this mod list? it would be a great alternative to the Aluminium or Copper foam we already have. This material has and is used extensively in aerospace applications. www.americanelements.com/titanium-foam-7440-32-6It appears promising at a glance but the data from American Elements notes "all properties listed are for bulk titanium metal" in the first row. To date I only have a few poperties spread across different porosity grades. Ti foam is a potential bone substitute, and the majority of data are likely to come from medical literature rather than military or structural engineering.

oops, I think I get it now, the game doesn't support import spectrum from "import" folder. I might just use stock spectrum. You are correct, CDE bugs up when spectra are in the Import folder, but I found that they work fine in the Data folder (parent of import folder), everything else works fine from a single file in the Import folder, though the order in the file can produce bugs. Occasionally I get reactors and NTRs with warnings, but I haven't figured that out yet.

And, I strongly suggest manually set an expensive cost for Octaazacubane. This thing is dirt cheap right now.

Or I just remove that material for balance...

I don't think balance matters to the goals of a simulation. There are enough holes in the cost system to make it largely irrelevent to balance considerations as well, without a complete overhaul. Neon and helium are dirt cheap too but not really all that easy to get hold of; pure gold has the exact same cost range as steel; pure titanium is relatively difficult to make compared to retaining the impurities as alloying elements but cheaper than those alloys ingame, etc.

My quest for super OP materials continues... Also, there's some good stuff out there for various superalloys such as Eglin Steel, I managed to dig up Tensile, Yield strength, approximate the melting point at >1700 K because they treated the steel at that temp or more and through the power of wikipedia get all the component parts, anyway, sources: web.mst.edu/~lekakhs/webpage%20Lekakh/Articles/14-017.pdfThis article has given the most information so far. The results, with mostly placeholder values from Austenitic Stainless Steel: I'm not sure what the element count is meant to be. You've mixed percentage amounts used for alloys with whole numbers from chemical compounds. It's not clear if you intended to use the composition from table 1 in your source or something else. I'll add it to the compendium as I've interpreted it (93.984 for Fe looks like you meant either .93 or .984 and forgot to remove one) and the material looks normal ingame but please check its entry and correct me as necessary.

Since the workshop now natively supports mod files over vanilla files, think it's possible to add the spectra files as a part of the workshop mod now?

Can't the whole list of modded elements be uploaded to the steam workshop?

Edit, sorry. That post didn't make any sense. What I meant to ask is; Has anyone found a better armature material than rail gun armature carbyne yet?
