Hello,
I've had CoaDE since launch, and I've never had any significant issues with performance with it on my desktop--until now. All of the sudden, when viewing any module or component my FPS drops down into the 10-20 range and the game stutters when making any significant changes to components (size, material, etc). Viewing any ship drops the FPS down to single digits and turns everything into a slideshow; modifying them results in stutters lasting several seconds to minutes. Commanding them in combat is nearly impossible. These performance drops persist in both editing and combat modes. If the ships or modules are not being rendered, performance is fine; a solid 60 fps or greater in menus and in the combat maneuvers screen.
Modifying the graphical options does not modify FPS in any capacity whatsoever, even when put on the absolute minimum settings (minimum render scaling included). Graphics drivers are up to date, reinstalling the game has not helped either. CPU shows usage around 50% to 75% on all four cores and is not overheating.
The only thing that has changed on my system recently is an upgrade from my older Nvidia 750ti to a 1060, and the addition of a second monitor, though i'm not sure why they would affect CoaDE specifically; all other games on my system are running fine.
Any idea what might be causing this, and how I might fix it?
System Specs:
OS: Windows 10
CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 630, 2.8 GHz (quad core)
GPU: NVIDIA 1060, 6 GB VRAM
RAM: 8 GB
