Currently the minimum mass of control rods is 1 kg while the minimum mass of the radioactive fuel is 100 g. This makes miniaturizing nuclear reactors or nuclear thermal rockets difficult. The minimum mass of control rods should match that of the fuel.

You could say that in a way, it's serve as a limitation on miniaturization of the tech because Jesus Christ, no super micro missile do you want to lag your computer to death?!

The minimum mass of control rods should match that of the fuel. You can manually enter much smaller amounts. Attachment Deleted
