1. MPDTs and resistojets work when they're the only propulsion on a ship but no longer in combination with other engine types. Even if you disable a dual-propulsion warship's NTRs to try to force MPDT use, its delta-v meter will switch to zero.
2. Provided it can power just one of them, a ship with MPDTs or resistojets can use all such engines it has both in combat and orbital manoeuvres. So you can stack hundreds of 100MW engines on a ship with a single 100MW reactor and use all of them at the same time.

3. Resistojets can achieve GWs of thrust power with only MWs of input.
