Hello. I'm new here. I got the game a couple weeks ago and I find it enjoyable, addicting and enraging. I have two possible glitches that I wanted to report. 1. My main strategy is using Drones as proxies to engage enemy fleets directly. Whenever my Drone fleets are intercepted by an enemy missile fleet I will have them scatter so the missile run out of Delta-V and disable. Then when my Drones finally engage the enemy, I will disable range and have them fire and neutralize the enemy. For some reason, whenever I perform the scatter maneuver while trying to avoid enemy intercepts, when engaging the enemy the Drones will not fire even when the range is disabled. I don't know if this is a feature or if it's a glitch but I wanted to see if anyone else suffers this problem too. 2. When I pause the game in combat mode, a white vertical strip will appear for a split second. Explain? Thanks in advanced.

I don't know about your white strip aside from giving you the standard "update your graphics drivers", but this... whenever I perform the scatter maneuver while trying to avoid enemy intercepts, when engaging the enemy the Drones will not fire even when the range is disabled. ...is caused by the part of the AI responsible for aiming fixed weapons not working correctly, or just not well enough. If there is much tangential velocity between the shooter and target, as caused by evasive manoeuvring, the AI just lays the guns to the edge of their firing arc, and then before the gun can actually fire the target has drifted back outside of the arc, so the ship turns a little more again, etc. The problem gets worse for larger ships, making spinal guns on capitals practically impossible. The dev liked a post where I lamented the matter, and others have been complaining about it and suggesting solutions too, so there is the possibility of a fix at some point. At least I assume your drones have fixed guns. I've encountered drones not being able to fire turreted guns but that came from editing limits.txt for weapons that aren't so much snub-nosed as practically barrelless.

White strip does sometimes appear momentarily during particularly busy moments. It looks like a GUI component of some sort, possibly a scrollbar for notification area.

I also wanted to report on a texture glitch with an addon I got. It's the Ibis Luxury Cruiser. When I scroll away from the ship white pixels start to envelop the ship. It only affects this ship none of the other addons by the same creator have this glitch. Another one, I forgot which one. When I enter the sandbox and inspect the ship almost all of it's system are disabled. Again only this ship is affected. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=956666558&searchtext=

Out of Kane's ships only the Ibis happens to have one of the aesthetic aluminium layers covering the whole ship instead of just the band where it appears externally. Systems being disabled on any ships from the Workshop are probably because there was a patch since they were last updated, which affected radiation shielding (added gamma to considerations). A disabled crew disables the rest of the ship.
