Greetings!
I am experiencing a bug with the proximity detonation on custom warheads. No matter what type of warhead I create (nuke, flak, etc) or what distance I select, the warhead always detonates after coming in contact with the target. Not necessarily a bad thing since nukes tend to penetrate the target and detonate inside for massive damage, but it is frustrating when all of my flak missiles detonate after hitting the target and all of the shrapnel goes out the other side for little damage. It also renders all of my point defense missile worthless since most of the time the enemy missile kills my nuke before it triggers. The only way around this is to manually detonate the warhead, which relies on my poor ability to judge time and distance to target. Is anyone else seeing this?

Yeah. Currently the proximity fuse is a soft limit only. It will aim for skin on, then detonate at closest approach if that fails.
Ideally, we'd be able to set a Hard limit where it would immediately detonate if it got within a certain distance.
Hopefully, this will get fixed soon.
