You'll have to be careful to balance your turnabout time an damping multipliers to make it work. Around 1.5 seconds turnabout should be right, and damping as low as it'll go without breaking everything.

Just so you know when I try and copy and paste this into the game I get a LOT of deserialization errors.

Well the code you linked worked. So be it I think these style of missiles have a bit of an issue accelerating towards the target. They are super accurate as after all five of my missiles of this style got disabled they all hit the target gunship anyways! So be it they had not really accelerated much since entering combat. Any suggestion as this seems to affect your missile design as well.

I don't think I've ever tested these missiles without launching them in combat. The RCS is usually not that useful otherwise, since you can just manually tune the intercept before combat.

Actually RCS works far far better than normal missiles when launched out of combat. You just need to make sure that they are accelerating in the terminal phase as RCS missiles have far higher hit chances than normal missiles as they do a lot less over correction.
