I fired up COADE this morning only to find all my user designs had disappeared. Originally I thought it to be a temporary glitch but after a full computer restart I looked at my user designs file. It has been completely wiped clean for no apparent reason.
Is there a way to recover any of the data?

If you're on a Windows computer type %appdata% in the search bar and click on the "Roaming" folder that gets brought up. There should be a folder named "CDE" somewhere. Find the userdesigns folder in the CDE folder. There will be a long list of USERDESIGNBACKUP.TXT in this folder. Find the most recent version of the file and copy it to your design location and rename it "userdesigns". It may not have all of your most recent designs, but it's better than starting from scratch. |

More accurately, you'll find backups in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\CDE\Backups with files named Backup[number]_UserDesigns.txt
