I get a very repeatable crash to desktop when I change a conventional gun's mount type (eg. from turreted to external). It happens only after I have been playing the game some time (I do not know what the breaking point is, but after cca 20 minutes of module editing it crashes almost always), when the game is freshly started the crash doesn't happen. If gun's mount type has been changed without crash, it can be changed later without crashing.
Operating System: Windows 7 64bit
CPU: AMD Ryzen
Graphics: GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
RAM: 16GB
Repeating steps:
* start the game, go to the module design
* edit any module. Change several parameters
* leave editing screen (with or without saving, shouldn't matter)
* go to Weapon - New Conventional Gun Module
* click at checkbox next to External Mount
The game crashes immediately.
Alternative steps:
* start the game, go to the module design
* go to Weapon - New Conventional Gun Module
* change several parameters
* click at checkbox next to External Mount
The game crashes immediately.
The crash does not happen when editing any other module type I know of (it doesn't happen even with railguns and coilguns).
I checked the crash logs and the backtrace is the same every time. This is a representative example:
I am currently using several modded materials, but this exact issue was happening even with a vanilla game. I checked integrity of game files with steam, and updated graphics drivers, it didn't help.
