Hello, I recently purchased this game earlier today and apparently I've had nothing but trouble getting the game to run. My computer meets all the specs and oddly enough after checking through the crash logs of the game as mentioned on the forums. I've legitimately found not a single crash report. There seems to be no solutions for me at the moment so I've had to come here to ask. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Can you post your hardware specs please? Also, how does it fail to start: does Steam refuse to launch it, does the game launch and then quit immediately, does the title screen appear for a second and then quit, or something else?
If it is a graphics issue, a common issue is the game crashes whenever fullscreen is on. If the game gets to the point of writing out a preferences file, then you could try disabling fullscreen (same place as crashlogs, one directory higher) in the preferences.txt file.

Computer specs are:
Intel i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30GHz
8 GB of RAM
Windows 7 64x Bit
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960
To better define my crash, everytime I boot up the game in Steam, I can see the small icon on the bottom of my taskbar but it disappears after a little less than a second. I have no black screens or any other indicators to tell me the game has launched. Steam seems to allow the game to start but only for that brief moment before immediately killing itself.

As a matter of fact, adjusting the full screen setting to false managed to cure me. Thank you so much for your help!
