Hi! Is it possible to personalize the music played during the different phases of the game? I tried putting other files in the audio/music folder but didn't work. I would like to listen some classical 2001 a space odissey pieces while in navigation view and others more adrenalinic during combat.

You can add .ogg files to ...\AppData\Roaming\CDE\Mods\Audio . Setting a particular track to play in a particular mission or sandbox can be changed in levels.txt but tracks can't be switched mid-level.
For example find the section (easy with ctrl+F) beginning with "StarterFleet AlliedSandboxFleet" and change the line at the end of this from "Music Far Centaurus Reprise" to "music [your file's name here]". Note that between "music" and the name of the track you need a tab, not a space. I haven't tested it but this should then make your desired track play in sandbox.
levels.txt can be found under ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Children of a Dead Earth\Resources\Data . I'd recommend making a copy of it to make your modifications in, then placing that in ...\AppData\Roaming\CDE\Mods\Data so it won't get overwritten by updates to the game.

I must say that this method works only if I edit the original levels.txt file. Several attempts to create a modded version in CDE\Mods\Data was unsuccesfull any clues on how to do it? My new favourite soundtrack is from NASA's voyager and I need it inside the game! www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JywaUNHdyQ

It sounds nice but this is the real thing: www.youtube.com/user/VoyagerPWS/videosAnyway, only certain directories are 'mod enabled' such that they will detect a replacement version in CDE\Mods\Data, so in this case there is no alternative to editing the original levels.txt. Unless, qswitched , would it be easy enough to just make every game file replaceable by mods directory counterparts?

Yeah, about that - what seems to be a new, custom campaign (named Insurrection) appeared today on the Workshop, but it isn't parseable by the current version of CoaDE and has no description.

Oops, that was just a test for the next patch, will remove that shortly. But yes, in the next patch, all core resource files (textures, audio, fonts, models) can be overwritten by mod files or Steam Workshop Items.
