Caveat: the files are in a weird format so I did my best.
I had to skip dumping a few attributes into this document, such as elemental composition, lasing medium properties, and dissociation.
I'll keep chipping away at it for a few days when I can find the time (and am not actively playing).

Thanks a megaton for making this. Is it okay if I use this as the basis of a material ranking project I am working on? If I can get it to work, my intent it so post it on the forums, and include a link in this and in a steam guide. Obviously, I will include a very heartfelt citation to your work.

I made a LibreOffice database based on pokington 's spreadsheet. This way you have better filters. Example: You want a list of materials with a melting point above 2000K and a Yield-Strength above 800 MPa sorted by density. 1. On the left click on Queries -> Use Wizard to create a query 2. Under "Field selection" add: Material, Density_kg__m3, MeltingPoint_K, YieldStrength_MPa 3. Under "Sorting order" choose: Density_kg__m3 4. Under "Search conditions" choose MeltingPoint_K then "is larger or equal" and type in "2000", do the same with YieldStrength_MPa in the field below and put in 800 5. Click on Finish and viola CoaDE-materials.odb (24.23 KB)

I made something that might be useful. Using the spreadsheet, I created an excel table that makes it possible to automatically rank materials from 1 to 100 based on a weighted combination of its attributes. The weights and attributes can be defined by the user. I think it will be a big help in comparing materials. Dead earth.xlsx (214.38 KB)

I should've guessed people would want to get a spreadsheet of all materials. I had a half-broken internal dev tool that printed out all material properties (and costs) to a csv. Figured it'd make your lives easier if I just fix it up and expose it to users. It'll be in the next update.

Are the poly ethylene specs right....Molar mass is noted as 30g/mol. Thats ethane.
Is it supposed to be LDPE or HDPE or VHMWPE ? Because some middle ground options between LDPE and UHMWPE would be nice. Perhaps polycarbonate as well ?
