Then go to steam and try it:
steam game menu > right click > properties > updates tab > uncheck cloud syncing

the game is finnally working for me. thanks samichu Unless you manually blank the Designs file, steam will try to sync it with the cloud copy, because reasons. Leaving the file blank is fine, but deleting it will make steam think you're on a new PC with the game, and try and replace the data. |
