The body is mainly meant to push 200kg nukes @ ~5kms dV.
These light loads make it as far as ~7kms dV. Hmmmmm I wonder what 150kg flak material with 50kg of HMX does.....

I know the NEFP craze is dying down now that it's been effectively proven to not work Wait what?

I noticed they only worked if you had a single entity in an instance.
Most likely a teleporting warhead ( old bug ) with (slow) flak being left behind at the missile location.
I did some testing in one of the more recent NEFP tests.
The second you had 2 more missiles in an instance the ,supposed, NEFP effect never occured.

Yes, me.
Like I said...I can get destruction like that as well..... It just needs 1 target and 1 missile in a combat instance. This makes a warhead teleport into the target.( old bug ).
If that plate is a rad shield you can forget about it immediately. Apparently non explosive components are deleted immediately if the nuke (or another explosive) goes off.

Apparently non explosive components are deleted immediately in the nuke goes off. That only happens if the non explosives are too close to the nuke.

Make a missile with a stack of 50 x 50 cm thick Osmium plates under a suitcase nuke.
Furthermore I am going to make a ship with a massive number of spacers to see how surviveable a hull is.

I keep repeating if you use a single missile the payload will teleport.
Its easily verifiable ...if you use a small 97tonner or so the nuke will explode inside the target ship and the inside will glow without harming the exterior armor. NO BLACK ARMOR WHATSOEVER. How *DID* the target get heated from the inside ?
I just repeated some tests again with a NFP warhead, some results as ever.
1 missile = deals damage at any range and flak at missile origin. More than 1 missile = no damage.

For when you really need something dead. Paid for by taxes gee I wonder what happens if a laser or semi-sandblaster tracks across its surface?

For when you really need something dead. Paid for by taxes gee I wonder what happens if a laser or semi-sandblaster tracks across its surface? The actual missile I have on my side has thick aramid fiber frontal armour, and the engines survive long enough to get in range. Outruns many point defence weapons, but 1GT of nukes already does decent damage at 1Mm range, it's just that 100km away is more preferable My alternate, more sane one has 1 engine with 6.5gs of thrust, 18km/s dV And then there's this...
