Step 1: Import Silver Bullet, load on craft of choice Step 2: Set up Sandbox with craft of choice & target vessel (eg cargo station) Step 3: Launch Silver Bullet, deactivate flak bomb & nuke Step 4: Set up low speed intercept with target vessel Step 5: On intercept, use move command to turn silver bullet away from target vessel, accelerate until target vessel is moving away and Silver Bullet is pointing away from target Step 6: Pause, reactivate flak bomb and nuke, detonate them both Step 7: Observe Target Vessel magically disintegrating Just detonate after launch If it's not a glitch, and you armor the launching ship enough, that'd be a hell of a weapon. Crewman: "Sir, enemy ship has crossed the mega-meter sphere." Captain:"Eh, just dump a couple Casaba-Howitzers out of the armored airlock on deck twelve." *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM* Crewman: "Enemy ship destroyed sir."

It almost worked Set launch ship to homing, deploy missile, detonate: I'm gonna play around with this tomorrow. I'm thinking with some small RTS thrusters and a fixed micro laser mounted on the nose it may be able to orient itself with a drone's default broadside command. Give it a good push out of the launcher and a timer on the nuke so it launches away from the ship, orients, and detonates. If 95t warheads can work and the mass of the flak slug isnt critical, it could be very small device with a high launch velocity away from the ship. No need for a main engine, with proper orientation from the RCS and a timed fuse it should engage from Mm range. I wouldn't think such small nukes would be a threat to a specially armored warship. A thick coat of S-gel should suffice. I imagine the ship as something like the Missile Schooner. Small, simple, and light with several thousand nuclear micro lances that it can pump out.

sorrey I'm late to the party but what do all the chinese characters mean? my english and (very) limited spanish does not help 屈機,冇武德=OP , unfair (or some sort) This was my lousy attempt to formulate a CoaDE 拳诀 (fighting poem/maxim) "Exploit bug... no martial virtue!!" Though it only half-rhymes if you pronounce "bend machine/exploit bug (wat gei)" in canto and "martial virtue (wu de)" in mandarin

*If* teleporting payloads is whats happening the results are still strange because we get through and through holes instead of spherical explosions.

Now that I think about it...it could be related to pancake frag payloads throwing most of the flak forwards and backwards.
But still strange because the payload usually has minimal explosive content.

98.7t nuke with 245kg Osmium/DU reflector on 1Mn target, average results: Using VC steel as reflector: Tungsten Rhenium reflector, average results The reflector you speak of is the actual reflector *IN* the nukes design ?

Actually this is realistic behavior, at least in regards to Casaba-Howitzer. There is a quote somewhere on Atomic Rockets about it. A pancake expands into a cigar and a cigar expands into a panckake.

the real casable howitzers use beryllium, so how does that fair?
