98.7t nuke with 245kg Osmium/DU reflector on 1Mn target, average results: Using VC steel as reflector: Tungsten Rhenium reflector, average results My God. A 95t warhead? I need to post the Autocannon my Not!Zaku uses... *edit* So to confirm, the effect is caused by using a DU, Tungston, or Osmium reflector the nuclear warhead?

Based on my tests this is just a comeback of the teleportation bug.

Hongkonger?! Yea it is really OP~ But it is what we called WAR!!! Not HKer, just have them in the family War or no war... you must treat conservation of momentum with propriety and respect

Generally the heavier the better, but Tungsten Rhenium seems to outperform Osmium by a small margin.

Based on my tests this is just a comeback of the teleportation bug. How do you confirm it? Step 1: Import Silver Bullet, load on craft of choice Step 2: Set up Sandbox with craft of choice & target vessel (eg cargo station) Step 3: Launch Silver Bullet, deactivate flak bomb & nuke Step 4: Set up low speed intercept with target vessel Step 5: On intercept, use move command to turn silver bullet away from target vessel, accelerate until target vessel is moving away and Silver Bullet is pointing away from target Step 6: Pause, reactivate flak bomb and nuke, detonate them both Step 7: Observe Target Vessel magically disintegrating

Based on my tests this is just a comeback of the teleportation bug. How do you confirm it? It only works when using a single missile to intercept the target, when the camera is locked on the missile. Upon detonation the camera switches to the ship, which is affected as if the nuke detonates inside at the camera's focal point. If the camera is focused on the ship at detonation there is zero effect. If the missiles are fired in groups there is zero effect. If the missiles are used inside of a ship on ship engagement, there is usually zero effect, except one instance where I had the camera focused on the missile and detonated the flak 200km from the enemy and 100km from my ship. The camera teleported to my ship, which was split in two despite being behind the missile. Teleportation bug also explains the apparent lack of aiming necessity.

The good news is if people keep breaking the game trying to make better NEFPs qswitched might get annoyed enough to model them explicitly

It's really difficult to tell what's a bug, what's an inaccurate result of the simulation and what's an accurate result since it's very hard to tell what is going on in here. I'm gonna guess all three are in play to various degrees.
