I was messing around with some conventional guns until i found something that makes no sense. The gun was loading faster than it can shoot

Presumably the lower bound of slug gun reload time should be what's required for the first projectile to clear the barrel and allow breech opening without venting gas into the feed. That said, does this ever really happen on guns that are actually usable?

Reload time should probably be the sum of the fire time (the time the projectile is in the barrel) and the time it takes to put a new round in the breach (the current reload time).

I'm pretty sure that just means the loader is capable of loading the shot at the speed given, not necessarily the true fire rate.
