Not sure whether or not this is a bug or intended behaviour, but when playing through the campaign, the mission "Vesta Overkill" would not register completion after I destroyed the enemy fleet due to the existence of a group of enemy missiles which I had evaded earlier. Said missiles made no attempt to attack, and simply continued to orbit indefinitely, until I was forced to complete the mission by burning hard back toward Vesta and ramming my ship into the missiles (was out of counter-missiles by that point). Only then would the mission conclude.
Not a major issue, but a little annoying.

This still isn't fixed? I suppose it is on Qswitched's to-do-list, but there were more pressing bugs.

I ran into this on my playthrough of the mission. My solution was just to not dodge the missiles, and beef up my anti-missile capabilities until they were no longer an issue.

I ran into this on my playthrough of the mission. My solution was just to not dodge the missiles, and beef up my anti-missile capabilities until they were no longer an issue. I didn't even deliberately evade them; I just made a burn to intercept the enemy capital fleet and they never bothered to re-acquire the intercept. Had they done so, I'd've engaged them before the enemy capitals and killed them with my lasers or counter-missiles. As it was, after fighting their fleet my counter-missiles had been expended and my lasers disabled (no idea how, as the ship hadn't even been hit - maybe optics burned out by the enemy lasers?), so I just folded in my radiators and let them hit me make my ship's armour all glowy and warm. Only got silver because of that, but meh. I'll revisit it after I finish playing through the campaign; probably easiest to get gold by only using missiles and drones anyway.

After all of the missiles are launched, the enemy fleet will launch itself at you. it's kind of annoying to just wait for the enemy to get tired of trying to nuke you, but it works.
