The simplest of a drone design would be to design a gun and then make a drone around it, packing it with armor, fuel and sufficient thrust at the near minimum cost and mass as possible. But what if you want to add some more utility to the drone, by shoving in a different weapon system instead of make another drone for the task. Here's an example from my design. Armed with a 5 kg railgun that fire 1 gram round at 3 kmps and micromissiles. The Kunai-I is capable of delivering over 50 micromissiles to the target. if the target was still combat-viable after the missile strike, the Kunai-I can finish it off with the railgun fire from a safe distance. if the target also has flare, the railgun can counter that and either finish the enemy craft off or damage the enemy craft to a acceptable degree for the next drone to come and finish it off. However, the micromissiles were proven to be completely inadequate against laser, Kunai-II solved that problem with micromissiles that have more fuel and thicker laser-resistant armor. The drone was also having a dual MPD-NTR hybrid drive that allow it to travel long distance and have sufficient combat maneuverability, but that's not the main point here. In general, the drone can easily defeat all sort of ship types, at a very cheap price and light weight too. But there might be task that proven to be inadequate for the drone, as it was Jack of all trade, but master of none. So, do you guys have anything to share about on this topic?

Looks very, very good.
I guess I will need hyperlasers.
