I've been experimenting with flak, and the idea of just peppering a fleet with possibly literal tons of metal shards to weaken their forces as an alternative to nukes. However I am coming across an issue whereby the flak will often disappear before reaching the intended target, whereas other times I see flak lasting many seconds after it's gone past the enemy. So, what factors in to when flak gets deleted from the game?
