Here is a project, or a program, to expand the CoaDE universe. Be it in settings, ship designs or module designs or stories and backgrouds even.
The idea is to make the original game settings more detailed and more convincing, since we've got pretty impressive stroies about the war on Earth and how humanity reached out to the whole SolSys. About how the wealth gaps increased and the fate of people of different classes differed. About the patheic life of workers packed in factories makeing shoes and children forced to obtain ice in dangerous working conditions, and, yes, about those who provide sex services only to have tommorow's bread.
However the problem is those things seem to exist only in discriptions. Not only does players seldom(or never) see civilian commercials and liners streaming around in missions, but also the stock design is mostly about warships, with only a handful of civilian ships and space stations. Similarly, userdesigns are often focused on building SuperDreadnought instead of how the world operates actually.
I believe many of you do wonder as I does about those things beside battlings. How does ports and shipyards in CoaDE look like? Do the rich and the poor travel in the same kind of liner? How different is tankers that transport explosives from non-explosives?
To fit into the original universe, I define that designs should be as stock-ish as possible, sometimes even mimicking the stock ship outlook. However that doesn't rule custom module out completely.

They cover a wide vairety from fuelers to reconships and even space ports that house tens of thousands! Since it seems that this board has reached its attachment limit, I uploaded the pack at another forum and provide a link here. Chinese Version Link nukeremains.proboards.com/attachment/download/1Presently there is no detailed introduction of each ship and yes there is no English version. But I shall fix that later.

CrazyShip--Yamato This is not a ship for the expansion pack. It is a ship carrying armament equivalent to the Yamato of IJN during the WWII. That said means the design carries 9 4600mm conventional guns and 12 1500mm conventional guns with an adition of 48 25mm conventional guns(simulating the anti-aircraft ones). These huge guns at leat shoot as fast and their turrents rotate as fast as their real-life counterparts. And its worthy to mention that the whole ship weigh almost the same as the real Yamato (46000 tons). Missile for defense:
It has been mentioned in the background story that Planets in CDE are heavily protected by a huge amount of missiles built underneath the surface or located near the low-orbit. Therefore it is dangerous to venture into near orbit or approach planet surface unless any danger has been cleared. However as the game is mostly concerned with space combat, these defensive missiles are not modeled. Of course, stock missiles serve well, but the difference between ship-to-ship combat in deep space and low-orbit near-surface defend makes specialized defensive missiles a necessity.
So what will those missiles look like? They need not be deployed by capitolships, and they need not be carried millions of kilometers away as well. The fact that they are launch from surface or low-orbit space stations leaves a loose requirement for mass. That combined with a defensive missile's main task--to threaten enemy forces and destory them if they come too near--makes it reasonable to build defensive missiles into considerably bigger ones carrying more warheads and armored with thicker anti-laser layers.
The manuvearability and thurst of those missiles, however, may vairy a lot. Missiles launch from the surface would sure need more DV and the acceleration must not run below the planet gravity; While those located in orbit have less restrictions.

You'll be a commander of the RFP with a lower rank and of a rather humble birth. You'll thus receive orders in harsh tone and be among the audience of all those propagandas. For example the high command will be trying to conceal the fact of a total failure at Ceres. What do you mean by 'design criteria'? Those ships are designed to fill the gap in stock desgins. For example I made the Ice Farm mentioned in the game, Factories near Jupiter and Farms positioned at ESL 5
