So I was looking around, I couldn't find any IRC channels setup for the game. So I setup one, if there actually is one please inform me.
Otherwise, this would be a good spot for people interested in the game to talk and discuss the game, and for new players to more easily get involved.
Server: irc.quakenet.org Channel: #COADE

Yay, finally an irc- Quakenet fuck why. To be honest, that's the only one I knew how to setup. This is the first time I've ever setup an irc, anything wrong with Quakenet?

Also, unless someone else decides to start a channel, why not start coming by, encourage some other people to join.

It's a great, free client and it can connect to a whole lot of servers- including QuakeNet.

I use Hexchat, it's pretty good. On a sidenote, no one has joined yet. Feels bad. We need to average 100 people, etc.

We'll need, like, qswitched on the channel or something like that level of attraction.

i thought we had a discord server already, and thats like, IRC but better, no? I think IRC is better for text chat than discord is, at least with a good bot to help out. Discord does have its strengths too, though, but I find it more conducive to actually gaming than simple conversation.

It'd be a bit like using Teamspeak or Curse Voice for text chat.
