Anyone else notice this? For example; giving the command "turn to angle" to a flight of three ships and about half the time they won't turn (and on one occasion I had one of the ships turn in the opposite direction).
Any ideas what's causing this behavior?

Not sure the extent of it, but I've cheap designs that have crew compartment and remote control (so that if the crew module is pasted, the thing can still fire weapons - part of my early, stock module superlaser array).
I got the impression that the ones on remote control were more sluggish responding to fleet orders (though that may have been battle damage). In any case I didn't extensively test it.

These are crewed ships. What it is is they have a beam on the front, and two more on the side. The plan is for them to turn 20-30 degrees at the start of battle to bring them all to bear. (I'm trying to combine the best elements of broadside and needle ships; good firepower with a smallish profile) I wonder if this is a bug? The AI "remembering" angles and trash from previous engagements and getting confused? I'll have to do some testing after work to see if I can get it to consistently break. Oh, and a remote installed on all of your ships is genius BTW

OOooh, that might be what was messing with my missiles too! They were trying to dodge, and thus not stopping the thrusting. And missiles I don't think ever really need to dodge... cannon CIWS is extremely low-ranged, especially since the AI never sets its guns to engage beyond range, and lasers have perfect accuracy anyways.

I'm kind of wondering if that was what was messing up my Methalox RCS experimentals as well. I'll have to try them again tomorrow.
