Really two general queries. I've been reading recently about a speculative branch of explosives research called azafullerenes or nitrofullerenes. Essentially these are buckyballs with the carbon atoms replaced with nitrogen atoms intended to massively increase the energy and velocity of explosives. Research suggests these would be highly energy dense and extremely stable, thus ideal for nuclear weapon uses. One example I am familiar with is dodecanitrofullerene. I'm wondering if anyone with a better grasp of the chemistry involved could help me work out a materiel and chemical reaction entry. Many thanks in advance. My second question is that I don't seem to be able to fuse my nukes to detonate close enough to do any damage without simply failing to detonate and slamming into the target at high velocity. Is there a built in fuse delay at work? Does anyone have any suggestions? Again, Many thanks.

Failing that, can anyone explain to me the maths that the game uses to determine the detonation velocity and energy of a given explosive? I've been trying to figure it out by experimentation but it would be much easier if someone else already knows. Many thanks in advance.
