So has anybody started rocking anything with the level editor yet? Any custom campaigns to share? I am flush with ideas for campaigns, but alas have lacked the time necessary to execute. I'm sure somebody is cooking something up though for us to enjoy. Pipe up if you are working on something!

i also have many ideas (most of them based of the best level in the game (vesta overkill) ), but i have no idea how to make multiple fleets -friendly and enemy- orbit the same body.
how do ?

There are Ember Orbit campaigns, but they are plagued with dependency issues and seem a bit on the easish side, often pitting your fully customized (by default) fleet against completely outclassed stock stuff. i also have many ideas (most of them based of the best level in the game (vesta overkill) ) The best missions are gas giant ones, as they combine combat, non-trivial orbital manoeuvring, and possibility of very high velocity intercepts. Sure, they could be harder combat-wise, but they are more interesting than just shooting some stuff around an overgrown space-pebble that allows you to just ignore orbital mechanics and make beelines instead. I would love to see some complex ideas implemented - say rushing to refuel and cover extraction of an unarmed/disarmed ship that's out of propellant and about to be attacked by enemy fleet (ship needs to survive and reach a friendly base somewhere). It's not intuitive nor user friendly as always Well, it's a one guy's project, probably a side one too. I will be picky when I'm swimming in ultra-realistic space combat sims, as it is I consider it an outstanding job - I've never had any other game tell me that thermal expansion will break my NTR engine due to regenerative cooling creating too steep temperature gradient across chamber's wall, let alone a game that let me shoot stuff.

Great idea here. Hopefully I'll be able to try creating that mission. Properly starting the Prosperous Project, maybe.

I tried out the level editor a bit. It works, and being able to load separate campaigns makes this really able to take off with community effort. Can't seem to figure out how to add a mass/cost budget, though.

I've been more focused on using the level editor as a miniature Universe Sandbox. It is fairly accurate as far as physics go (with the exception of those planets which orbit through their parent body) and fun to play around with solar system wide missions. On that note, did anybody ever figure out where the faction emblems are stored? I'd like to add a hammer and sickle for... reasons....

IIRC mass/cost budget is autocalculated from default fleet. I create a default fleet, and the budget remains unlimited. Might be something else I'm doing, idk. On that note, did anybody ever figure out where the faction emblems are stored? I'd like to add a hammer and sickle for... reasons.... They are hardcoded. All you can do is recolor an existing emblem.

Weird. When I click the return to menu button from custom missions I finished, the game crashes.

Qswitched here my cry, please add customizable emblems!!

If we get customizable emblems DCA is so getting one.

If so, I think I might try making my in-universe company's ensign for use in Project Prosperous.
