Just a normal looking rocketship, right? But just beneath the surface...
Now, as exploitable as this is, I do like one thing about it - see the rear of my rocketship:
It looks cool, but it's a problem for balance/realism. Ideal situation: Radiators always go on top of the armor and optionally also slope with the armor instead of always being placed like they're on a flat horizontal surface. In other words, I'd prefer my radiators not work underneath the armor, but also not interfere with things underneath the armor either, and I'd like to continue being able to throw my radiators out in the shadow of my rocket's front armor (but also be constrained by the potential exhaust cone of my gimbaling engine), so in effect I can still have radiators like in these engineering blueprints:
Also it'd be nice if I could put radiators for different things next to each other. I can place 4 engine radiators on my cylinder, but I cannot place 2 engine radiators and 2 laser radiators in the same arrangement. Also annoying is that I can have 30 of the same kind of reactor and place radiators to cool them, but then if I add 1 reactor of a different size and shape, but the exact same specifications in every other way, I now need a *completely different* set of radiators to cool it. Maybe I wanted a fat reactor in the middle and a skinny reactor in the nose? Well I can't do that and use the same radiator, and surface area for radiators is a limited commodity.

If I understand things correctly, you should go to suggestions.

This is a bug. Unless it's intended behaviour for radiators to function underneath armor?

These are bugs. Unless it's intended behaviour for radiators to function underneath armor? Technical Support. Although it is likely it's not a 'bug', but rather a 'limitation'. This kind of thread fits Suggestions more.

Okay, well you move it over to suggestions I guess?

Okay, well you move it over to suggestions I guess? argonbalt is the forum mod (yes, the only one). Direct any requests about moving threads to him. If you want it done faster, go to the CoaDE Discord channel and poke him there.

They're still around, but not as active.
