Ok so I like my missiles and flack coilguns. I think they are very effective in fact. It's just that there seems to be no way what so ever to protect your ship even remotely against internal explosions. Such as flak ammo or missile stores getting hit and blowing up. Now I don't even care about weight penalty.
So really I want some internal bulkheads that don't just die like they aren't even there such as radiation shields made of armor material. So anyone had any success with dealing with your ammo blowing up?

Well, if a missile has the explosive force to blow up an enemey ship you can't really expect a whole magazine of them not to take your ship out when they go can you?

I think it's more efficient to armor the modules themselves than the ship around them. Also place them away from common targets.
