1. & 14. The only appropriate cataclysm I see capable of exterminating humanity from Earth in the near future would be impact with a rogue dwarf planet from deep space. In which case the oceans have boiled off, the surface is molten, and there is plenty of debris in orbit. Earth's orbit and axial tilt are somewhat disrupted. Luna's orbit is disrupted, and Luna is regularly pelted by debris for centuries. There was enough prior warning to get some people off Earth into space, ensuring humanity's survival. 3. I expect a direct extension of current internet culture to dominate, and bleed into everyday interactions. Anime, memes, etc. Virtual reality should be common by this point. Light lag causes MMOs to have poor ping times across the system, so the most popular games system-wide are not multiplayer in real time. Or only multiplayer in real time in the local area 'everything within say, a tenth of a light second.... 6. Yes, though this more or less requires constructing a fairly large generation ship, which is expensive. It will eventually happen, at least a few times. Or seed ships. Or ships with persons-on-a-chip.8. & 11-13. Automation makes nearly all unskilled labor obsolete; work is either intellectual (science/engineering/art), supervising/directing automation (often by remote control), or bureaucratic. I expect that block chain systems and improvements in automation will drastically reduce bureaucracy....

This is a very interesting concept, I remember somebody else creating an OC COADE faction that was explicitly based off of Japanese image boards like 2chan, but I can't remember what it was by name. Due to the fact that light lag would delay any meaningful real time communication between stations and surface/subsurface colonies that are not within a few light seconds of one another, I doubt it would be completely out of line to say that the more casual communications between different settlements could be similar to forum communications on the internet. It's clear to see that a text based forum is less hampered by lag than a constant video or audio stream. The fact that intra settlement communications would be very quick compared to many inter-settlement communications could mean that each station could develop its own "forum culture" in a way similar to isolated internet forums would due to lack of constant communication. Does this perhaps mean that wars between stations could be sparked by flame war esque arguments on the popular inter-station forums? Is this the REAL reason why the RFP and USTA went to war? /s Someone needs to make a ridiculous campaign about this filled with the dankest of memes. Doge demands it.

The perfect campaign doesn't exi... Would it then be called children of a dead meme?
