So, if I'm correct, qswitched has been doing everything, bug reports, the whole game, this forum, on his own. Does he (or she) plan to hire more people?

The number of COADE copy sold had declined since 2 week after the release , so i doubt if he have enough fund can do so...

See the game credits (also in "Misc.txt"). The music is by someone else! And there's a special thanks to Rodney the Chihuahua! But seriously, yeah, this is quite a lot of study and programming to do on one's own. Respect.

I think when we have a robust enough modding system in place we won't need "official" content as much. Look at what modding does for games like KSP and all the Elder Scroll games. The best parts of those games come from modders. I think opening the game up for the community is the best outcome for this game. We are many and Qswitched is only 1.

Sometimes mods are good enough that the devs incorporate them into the code of the main game. I heard the fighter cockpit in Space Engineers is one of these. The edit of Osmium here to add its thermoelectric sensitivity value is another minor example. (It feels nice to have contributed that, since it had so much effect on reactors. ). Then that basically sparked the entire rush for new materials.

Somehow this bot keywords up there ^ seem kinda appropriate, namely: - These are real (this is a real game, and realistic too!)
- it is awesome (ditto)
- performances (that this game is lacking especially in ~30mm AC department)
- Step By Step (good only if the stepping of versions will continue; alternatively, many drones firing many guns transform this game into step by step process)
- New Kids on the Block (which I doubt this game will have, I mean devs)
- Baby, I Believe In You (our last resort is blind faith in qswitched)

This was a huge accomplishment, if qswitched plans to continue with more hard scifi games, maybe they'll use COADE as a resume buffer and work on other games and companies, then maybe come back for a sequel later/form their own company?
