I just did a google search for "battleship turrets transparent" because I'm too lazy to cut out a picture myself and this was the best result.

To be honest, this should be thousands of tiny tin cans firing the death star laser from each. With little $1 price tags.

What are those turret supposed to be from? If memory serves, a british battleship. King George or something of that nature had the distinctive quad barrel turrets.

I'm pretty sure they're from the French Dunkerque. Some quick googling and it looks like we're both right! While I don't want to discredit you, because the King George does have quads, but the ones teeth has seem to have more of the shape from the Dunkerque. King George has equal spacing in the guns, and Dunkerque has a bigger gap in the middle and the little notch above it. A little more searching and you're not entirely off, the Dunkerque and King George do share a lot in common.

Going from memory, either of us recalling very similar configurations was good.

When I saw the thread title, I imagined carefully painted realistic pictures of ships in the void of space.
This isn't what I expected, but somehow I'm not disappointed.
