I've never followed a game before its release, so a question came to mind. How do you figure out how much to charge for the game? I'm gonna' buy it unless it's insanely expensive, but what kind of decision making goes into the price?

This is all educated guesswork but:
-The dev totals up the amount of hours they worked on the game. -They find how much a game dev is paid on average in the industry, and multiply the number of hours by that per hour value. -Any other costs of the project are added to this. -They make a prediction of how many copies the game is likely to sell over time. -They divide the total cost by the number of expected sales, and get the cost of the game. -Markup is added.

After I thought about, I figured factors like that, still seems an interesting question.
