Hi guys,im currently designing a campaign where two factions,The Republic of Earth,consisting of the inner planets and several disputed claims over the asteroid belt face off against the outer alliance,consisting of the gas giants and disputed claims in the asteroid belt.A few minor factions will include the Frontier republic,having complete control of the trans-neptunian objects such as Pluto and Haumea and the like.Im looking for some artists to model in a non dead Earth Texture that looks nice and some Flags for the Factions

Earth texture: plenty on the internet. If you want specular map you can also search for it. Get a cloud map and paste it on top of both maps. Flags: Give us details first? Also, right now you can't add ensigns.

I actually have an earth texture but it looks,say a bit cartoonish and i want something more realistic.As for the flags,where are the stock flag textures located?And for the flags,here is one i think looks good but im a noob at Photoshop.I want to remove the stars and text Earth texture thats a bit cartoonish naturalearth.springercarto.com/ne3_data/8192/textures/3_no_ice_clouds_8k.jpgFlag but i want the stars and text removed

As for the flags,where are the stock flag textures located? Ensigns 'flags' are hard-coded. That's why. Also, that flag looks straight from 1980s.

Ah,thats annoying!!I suppose im going to try finding new textures in the morning.Also,can planetary populations be changed or are they static?I want to change earth to 10 billion people but the coimter is at 5 something billion

Ah,thats annoying!!I suppose im going to try finding new textures in the morning.Also,can planetary populations be changed or are they static?I want to change earth to 10 billion people but the coimter is at 5 something billion I think the populations might be auto-calculated, so with them and flags you'll need to work with what you have in-game (you can change the colours of the ensigns, though - knock yourself out).
Also I would recommend starting the campaign with stock designs first, then proceeding to custom, stock module ships and only then try proceeding with fully custom stuff. You can then isolate the problems as they appear (and have a nice sense of progression) instead of having to deal with one massive pile of nothing works as intended.

Pops are calculated based on temp (280 is ideal) distance from star (depends on the intensity of the star), gravity (1G gets peak population), and total surface area. Earth with a mean temp of 280 gets a pop of around 9 Billion.

Seeing that 280 is 7 degree Celcius, I wonder why people would settle such a cold world...
Earth is 287-288 K.
