The Glorious BFR by SpaceX: The most Sci-Fi mission by far in scale, launch up to 100 passenger in a single trip. 2 launch per a trip, refuel at LEO involved, uses Methalox, no Nukethermal involved. Needs Martian surface infrastructure to send 100 passenger without making them starve to death. fully resuable: Every stage of the rocket can do atmospheric reentry. Followed by huge fleets, aims to build a legit city on the red planet
Constellation Mars Mission by NASA: As always, complicated and expensive af for a handful of crews without reusability. 7 launches per a trip, multiple docking at LEO involved, uses hydrolox all teh way, nukethermal involved. No needs for any other infrastructure because they send only 4~6 there anyway :/
Lunar Orbital Platform-Gateway, former Deep Space Gateway, placed on the EML1 It will be followed by Deep Space Transport to go to Mars: Basically an Orion MPCS and an ISS habitat module with propulsion system. Will not land on Mars tho.
