Admiral qswitched, I'm having some problems with flak missiles. Flak doesn't effect ships maybe ~90% of the time, if the hard-range is set above 0. I've tested this with the stock flak missile and the stock flak missile that had been modified with the stock 10.0 KG TNT flak bomb (Which works and has a hard-range of 0.) as a replacement of the 10.1 KG Nitro bomb, (Hard range of 50) amongst many other custom modules with different ranges, flak weight and flak amount. This bug effects stock ships as well as custom ones. I use no mods and have reset my user preferences and retested this. I have also tested this on two separate computers. Sorry to add more to this technical support forum and thanks for the game! EDIT: I also didn't notice this bug in previous versions of the game . (I can't pin it down, it could be as early as 1.0. Sorry) I haven't played with missile designs in some time.Attachments:

Noticed this as well with a wide variety of different flak designs.

In the unlikely event that somebody will be searching for a solution in the future: the fragments from a flak bomb disappear after 1 frame of internal game clock, so if you set it to explode too far away from the target, it won't do any damage.
For example: If the missile is flying towards target at 1km/s the fragments will cross 1000m / 60 ~ 15m distance before disappearing.
