With the release version (when there wasn't any check on gas pressure on nukes, and you could use payloads on crewed ships), taking the most powerful nuke available on the forum (a few hundred gigatons), putting it on a giant missile and adding a crew instead of bothering to put the thing in a launcher. Then trying to reproduce the first experimental result where both the crew module and the bomb actually survived the detonation, letting me detonate it again.

I remember the superguns early on when it was easy to reach multiple megameters per second. Good times, when kinetics could take on lasers with no problem.
I didn't care to try it out; it's just a number I got in error while making materials, so I was only going into module design and looking at it in the menu. It's pretty easy to get though, if you wanna poke at it yourself; just change a material's thermal expansion line to e-1 where it says something more like e-6.
