before I stopped, a few (4) Centimetres of Li-6 stopped 46.02 megawatts of radiation

assuming a few cm of li6 a reasonable does would be a few megawatts, at least I guess i should have stipulated that as well, we are not just hot lugging these things inside the suits but would realistically have a radiation protector wrapped around the reactor(accounted for in the 2000kg Earth G weight/300sh Lunar G weight) , so as not to fry the poor bastard standing behind us in the troop transport. I suppose to simulate this in game you could throw armour layer of Li6 around the whole reactor/radiator/jet combo perhaps? yes, Li-6 is not that heavy so the mass would be negligable, a bigger proplem would be the tritium and or lithium 7 (which does not stop radiation) that may or may not build up

Ya, this is pretty darn unrealistic, where is the check for gamma rays from neutrons hitting the Li6 shield?

Ya, this is pretty darn unrealistic, where is the check for gamma rays from neutrons hitting the Li6 shield? Exactly, high energy particles escaping from your suit reactor would likely turn your armor suit into some kind of hideous bremsstrahlung resonator even if you managed to capture the neutrons.

hideous bremsstrahlung resonator Should be in the default ship name list

or "meltdown in progress..." What would constitute a good anti neutron radiation shield? lead? not lead, you need a meter of the stuff to protect crew from unshielded reactors, with a spacing of <100 meters
