Approx. 1/50 scale Stinger Drone. Took day to finish this. A lot messier than it was supposed to be, and parts are unfortunately not to scale. The 33mm gun would have been something like 0.15mm radius, so I just cut a paper clip and glued it on. Radiators are just messed up. I might not do capitals for my... sanity.

HOWE MAI ARCHAILECT.
I was trying the same thing for schoolwork, but it looks awful so I scrapped it. It was just a simple rod representing a gunship and two orange radiators...

In before we are able to 3D print ships. If there were some straightforward way of exporting models, you could just submit them to shapeways. If qswitched could charge an Autism Tax on this, it might not be a terrible way to get a little extra change for development.

I would be interested with more detailed models than what we have currently.

In before we are able to 3D print ships. But only ones made of paper. Has anyone tried using paper armour on spaceships?

paper armour was used to stop swords in japan once upon a time before guns China, Japan and Korea all used paper armor. Said paper was more like a fiber-y leathery thing, tho. They could wash the ink used to write on it off with water and reuse the paper.

But only ones made of paper. Has anyone tried using paper armour on spaceships? No. The closest thing that has been defined so far is pykrete (ice-sawdust composite).

I believe newspapers are better for pykrete then sawdust... is what I vaguely remember from years ago

A number of racing yachts have been built with resin impregnated paper hulls (the resin makes the paper waterproof). Much lighter than wood, but still cheaper than GRP.
