Hey qswitched I know its kind of rude to ask so close to an update, but is there any chance that the shapes of struts can change? They're still cylindrical so making a plane of fuel tanks doesn't flatten the armor. It kind of foiled my hopes and dreams of making Galactic Empire wedges. imgur.com/a/I1BnT

Soooooo it turns out that is the ship's shadow on the editor's walls. whoops. weird that it is reversed. It's a 3D shadow caused by being sunk into the Dirac sea! Qswitched is totes secretly an Angel!

Still leagues better than it used to be.

The shadow option certainly caused a lot of loading time when I tried to delete lots of old redundant stuff I have.
But it looks real nice in combat.
Still struggling to delete a lot of my modules though, I might try to turn off animation to make it load faster each time I delete redundant part or so.
Might try inventing some new side way armored ship again with the new armor option, the Sentinel looks so bloody cool with its angular armor.

Whelp, long rod projectile hits still crash the game. BUT, flak with a fuse will reliably detonate in front of a target and the fuse time lets you keep missed shots from cluttering the battle-space. Unfortunately a fuse makes any shot count as a missile, so lasers target and try to shoot down the projectiles.

You would think they will try to shoot down explosive projectiles with laser in the first place.
But it could be useful in distracting enemy from shooting laser at you with decoy projectile.

Minor bug: armour mass/cost doesn't update in the pie charts/lists when the material is changed. Only once you save the ship or change anything about it, the UI updates.

I am REALLY getting so much loading time issue just in deleting all my redundant modules even after turning animation and shadow off.
Maybe I should just start fresh besides some essential modules and ship design to carry onward.

The new element browser is awesome! Concavity is cool too although I rather miss the monolithic aesthetic of the stock designs, now they're all bulbous and some are kinda ugly It works well with some of them but for all of them to be all rounded... seems like qswitched went a little ham lol. I miss the old gunship. I think I'd rather them be polygonal than concave. It also seems like building your armor like that could give the enemy too much information about how the internals of your ship are structured, which is normally hidden with the plainer armor schemes.
