In forming a reply about armour I realised lead is bugged. It has the opposite Poisson's ratio to what it is supposed to have (negative 0.44 instead of positive). To rectify this I've taken the bulk modulus from Wikipedia (the stock lead entry lacks a bulk modulus line) and adjusted the shear modulus to yield 0.44 for whatever grade of lead we have ingame.

ADDIT: so to correct our own copies, just change that ShearModulus_GPa value to 5.1?
Ah, hello. You can do that, though you should also include the added BulkModulus_GPa line, but updates or file integrity checks to the game will overwrite changes in the steamapps directory. You should refer to this post on how to use mods: childrenofadeadearth.boards.net/post/25586
