This will be ONLY based on how cheap you can be when designing a ship that can beat the level "Vesta Overkill" in the campaign. I don't care about any other stat.

Yeah, link isn't working (maybe is directing to my own videos (of which there are none) and not yours?). Pretty impressive, though. That's getting pretty close to the minimum for a warship... I though I was doing OK for a while with my 750K ship but it turns out that tiny railgun drones beautifully optimized to take out laser stars are hilariously ineffective against the armor on the core/stock craft. Oops.

Conventional guns firing heavy slugs mounted on hypervelocity drones are pretty much the best thing you can do. It's cheap and can punch through a meter of steel armor without costing too much. Against stock ships you don't even need much armor since the lasers are pretty bad and their guns are useless against drones.

Given the way targetting distribution works, using one drone with many guns per incoming wave would take everything out in one pass. Multiple ships with few guns will all pick the same ones like before distribution was added. Suppose this is something qswitched should know about, so there, a mention.

What about using only the stock ships? What is the cheapest win there?

What about using only the stock ships? What is the cheapest win there? Nope, not gonna work, stock ships have large belts of RCC which is very expensive

What about using only the stock ships? What is the cheapest win there? Spamming patrol ships would probably be the most effective stock option. Adding in a carrier would also help distract enemy drone waves.
