Everyone make glass cannons (Borosilicate glass, Fused quartz, ect,) that are as cheap as possible but fire a high velocity projectile. I made one that shoots rubber bullets... lol I wonder what that would do against ship. Every part of the cannon must be made of glass if it has the option to be made into glass, except for the projectile.

I remember my "rubber bullets" thread. Back when the game bugged due to either being "too slow" or " too wasteful" to be used without a yellow warning (I really don't like any of my stuff to have warnings on them).
Either way, a sufficiently fast, heavy rubber slug usually anhilates whipple shields, or in some cases penetrate fully depending on what it hits (I've had one core a Hiveship, front to back once).
More often though, the shot bounces off, and gives the target a HUGE torque against wherever the shot hit. I've accidentally killed the crews inside on several occasions by doing that.

I'am sore that rubber bullets, which have 10m radius but only few hundred kg won't do much effect on a sensible armor... Expect make ship spinning...

Unlock it here: I knew that, I just forgot it... Because I never use it to make any magic weapon. Also, I think the tracer use in bullets this size should produce a lot of heat, enough to disturb the enemy ship?

I should do a new version with glass reaction wheels. NIB is OP.

How about coilguns? This one fires magnetic metal glass, with borosilicate glass coil, fused quartz barrel armor, and borosilicate glass tracer. I wonder what a 5 ton peice of rubber would do against a meter of steel when the rubber is moving at hypervelocities Possibly a HESH type effect where no penetration occurs but the shot spreads out over the armour and pushes a big scab off the inside. Producing squash head effects ingame could be the next big thing in the meta..? Sadly we can't get a War Thunder style shot replay showing where all the fragmentation goes, so it's difficult to discern and intentionally produce.

Producing squash head effects ingame could be the next big thing in the meta..? Last I heard, the meta armor was nitrile rubber (and/or a diamond/amorphous carbon combo). Because lasers have long range, and you can dodge/bounce kinetics but not lasers. On that note, rubber bullets vs rubber armor is funny.
